Description : The aim of this project is to facilitate the tenant led stock transfer of approximately 1100 council properties located on three estates managed by three tenant management organisations.
This project is funded through the Tenant Services Authority Tenant Empowerment Programme.
Currently Open Communities is working to support the LATMOS Shadow Board. An application has been submitted by the London Borough of Lambeth to the Department of Communities and Local Government to obtain a place on the CLG Transfer Disposals Programme and the Council has undertaken a stock condition survey of the properties and the financial consultants are preparing the Business Plan.
It is anticipated that the stock transfer proposal will be put to tenants to prepare for a ballot in February 2011.

Description : Clarence Way TRA, based in Camden is an experienced tenants association who has appointed Open Communities to work with the residents to explore their tenant participation and management options. Funded by grant from the Tenant Services Authority, this project is planned to take approximately 6 months.
