Based in Galway, Oscailte, is a new independent housing management, advice and training agency, specialising in supporting and advising social landlords and other stakeholders through change. Providing opportunities and supporting the delivery of effective management to Social Housing organisations. Oscailte provides 7 key services:
1. Housing Management – Offering dedicated housing management services for the full range of functions including rent collection, repairs, environmental works, allocations and neighbour disputes.
2. Interim Housing Management – Offering Senior Experienced and Qualified Housing Staff to manage portfolios of housing services on short term basis.
3. Housing Development - Project Management of housing development schemes from site identification to passing over the key of the finished property.
4. Community Consultation and Engagement - Supporting tenants and residents to have a say in how their social landlord develops their housing services.
5. Landlord Advisory Service - Taking a critical look at governance, quality and value in housing management services.
6. Training and Capacity Building - Providing comprehensive training for social landlords, tenant and leaseholder groups and purchasers of social housing sites for all aspects of housing management maintenance and development.
7. Finance and Budgeting - Offering financial management and financial risk assessments for your Social Housing Organisation.
